Speaker Schedule for Summit in the Snow 2012

The 2012 Summit in the Snow speakers have all been announced, and this year is going to be great!

Doug Palladini

Our addition to the speaker lineup is Doug Palladini, Vice President of Marketing for Vans, the world’s #1 action sports brand. Doug brings a wealth of knowledge about action sports, publishing, business management, website operations and much more. He’ll be carving some turns with us in Colorado, and you should join us!

Bill Jensen

Next there is Bill Jensen, CEO of Intrawest. Bill was instrumental in the 2010 Winter Olympics, and now oversees day-to-day management and long-term vision for all the ski resorts the company develops and operates. Bill has over 35 years of ski industry experience and a long record of success to share with us to learn from in water sports.

David Ingemie

We also will have Dave Ingemie, President of the SIA. The SIA is our counterpart in the Snow Ski Industry. Dave will bring a very unique message that is sure to cross over to many of the same issues we deal with but from a snow and winter perspective.

Lucy Kay

One of our breakfast speakers is Lucy Kay. Lucy is a dynamic marketing genius from the snow ski and snowboard industry. Another fresh perspective from a very successful marketer and business strategist. Don’t miss Lucy for ways to build your brand, customer base and revenue streams.

Our breakouts should be just as exciting. Peter Rietz, general counsel for the WSIA as well as the National Ski Area Association, will be drilling down into the world of Risk Management.

Peter Reitz

We heard from Peter last year from a 30,000-foot perspective. It’s time to get specific and have you walk away with some action items that you can implement the next day to protect your company.

Roy Reid

New for 2012 is Roy Reid and Jessi Blakley. They are from Consensus Communications, a PR Firm that is going to take us into the real world of crisis management and how we need to respond in today’s instant information world thanks to social media and other online outlets. Remember, whatever happens in the field today will be on YouTube before you get home tonight. How do we, as an industry, deal with that and minimize or maximize this medium?

Dan Schultz

Also new for 2012 will be our first two-track program.

Jessi Blakley

While some of you are in other breakouts, Dan Schultz from ASTM International will be conducting a workshop to further discuss the new Parasail National Safety Standards for parasail operators.

Register for Summit in the Snow today and join us for all these great speakers and some amazing snow!
