With encouragement from it’s board of directors, the WSIA set out to find a new host for the 2012 Summit in the Snow. Five major resorts responded to the WSIA’s Request For Proposal: Park City, Keystone, Steamboat, Crested Butte and Snowbird.
The first cut brought it down to two, Crested Butte and Steamboat. After careful review, the Executive Committee voted on a location and sent it to the full board for their final approval.
The WSIA is pleased and excited to announce that we will be going to Crested Butte, Colorado! 
We expect room rates will be cheaper with a wide array of options. More details will come in the months ahead, but mark your calendars now for February 27-29, 2012 for the next Summit in the Snow!
Formal opening for registration will be at the September 2011 Surf Expo in Orlando, FL.
