Membership dues and project assessments are the lifeblood of the WSIA. Failure to pay dues, boat fees and approved assessments, including additional fees agreed upon by towboat manufacturers such as warning labels or new risk management tools, can result in the loss of WSIA membership. Any member refusing to pay dues (or delinquent over 90 days) will have their membership reviewed by WSIA’s executive committee. WSIA will contact member to see if resolution can be made.
Late fees will be assessed at one percent a month for each late month.
If no resolution can be agreed upon, membership status (and all privileges) will be revoked 30 days after final notice is sent by WSIA.
